I coach a lot of amazing people in their personal lives, businesses and careers. From actors booking movie and TV roles to brand new entrepreneurs finding startup success in their businesses and one thing almost always comes up once they start to succeed. They feel sad or somehow unfulfilled when the people around them… friends, family and acquaintances do not seem to be happy for them.

Some take it in stride and still others start to contract themselves and slip back to a level which they feel makes those around them more comfortable. Lucky for them they have me as a spokesperson for the Universe saying to them “Um… NO!” and I remind them of my favorite poem by Marianne Williamson”

Our Deepest Fear

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves,Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you.  We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

After that there’s only one thing left to do! When you succeed, and even if no on in the whole wide world gives a damn, throw your own damn parade and celebrate the magic that is YOU!

It’s a lovely idea, in theory, to be ALL things to all people but eventually something has got to give… and usually what’s first thing to go is the essence of YOU and all the beautiful things that make you YOU, my friend.

So tonight we are going to reveal the truth about trying to be Superwoman, whether it’s in your business or your personal life and give you tools that will truly allow you to have it all, plus more of YOU and then some!

On April 2, 2012 I had the honor and the pleasure of seeing the legendary Oprah Winfrey and master life coach Anthony Robbins at Radio City Music Hall, live and in person, in my hometown New York City! For days now, I have been trying wrap my mind around the experience in a way I can articulate with words but they still escape me! I shall now however, give it my best shot!

I will begin by telling you how I was lucky enough to receive the ticket Oprah’s Lifeclass Tour New York City.

I have been a big fan of Anthony Robbins, whom many of his fans loving call Tony, and have been subscribed to his list for years. I follow him on twitter and he even tweeted me “Congratulations” when my new company

The Coffee Toffee Company was reviewed in The New York Times.

About a month or so I got an email saying he was going to appear on Oprah’s OWN network. I was thrilled and watched as Tony coached Oprah thru her own personal challenges and as she gained many new awareness about her life and the stories she told herself. And then she did the ultimate challenge… Oprah walked on fire!

It was amazing and I loved every minute of it. I also had the realization that I had some fire to walk on and thru myself. I have had a “fear” of flying for a few years now after a semi-turbulent flight back home from a business trip to Los Angeles.  Watching Oprah stand before a bed of 1200 degree hot burn coals, I had a KNOWING become clear to me.

I had a knowing that I could walk thru the fire too! Literally and fugitively.  It created in me the desire to vanquish the flying fear too (which is a good thing especially since I have to go back to Los Angeles in a few weeks to be the guest speaker at very special event presented by The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences)

About  a week after seeing this show, I got a call from a young lady named Melissa who’s been a long time listener and lover of my Free Teleseries and she called to say how much she loved the episode I did called “How to Attract & Create Extra Income and Collect Assets With Ease”. We had a lovely conversation about how we collect, preserve and increase our wealth and then she mentioned she was going to see Oprah  the very next week. (Coincidence? I think not!!!! LOL!)

I asked Melissa if she had an extra ticket to this SOLD OUT event and she didn’t. I asked if she would be willing to contact Oprah’s staff and ask them What Else is Possible? 

 

She did.

 

And they said…

YES!

The lines to get in spanned 3 very long city blocks and the crowd was in great spirits.

 

And little by little we made our way closer and closer…

Until we arrived!

 

The excitement built and built until the moment of truth when Ms. Oprah Winfrey herself took the stage and opened with these words that set the stage of the transformation we too could experience if we only choose it.

 

I learned alot of things from this lifeclass and from Tony, some of which I heard before but hearing them this time was different and I can not yet fully articulate to you why. BUT the single most IMPORTANT thing I learned is this…

I, JESSI JORDAN, CAN BE AND DO AND HAVE EVEN MORE!!!

What Oprah has done I can do to and even more than that. Can you imagine it? Truthfully, I could only imagine it before. Like a fantasy or a day dream. BUT there was just something that changed me when the event was over and I was standing just a few feet away from Oprah. Something energetically transformed me and called me to a new level of contribution, of inspiration and of greatness to come.
